The near contract carries nearly all the volume. The far month is quoted but barely trades, so read its price as indicative rather than as a level anyone dealt at.

GIFT Nifty runs in two sessions across roughly 21 hours, so it keeps pricing Indian equity risk long after the cash market has closed. Session 2 runs past midnight and settles the following morning.
Reading the number
What the premium tells you
This is a futures contract, so it should trade above spot by roughly the cost of carry — the interest on holding the position to expiry, less any dividends expected before then. That gap is normal and is not a signal on its own.
What people watch is the change in the gap overnight, while the cash market is shut. A move there is the first price at which anyone can act on news that broke after Indian hours.
Where this comes from
The futures quote is read from NSE International Exchange's own market-rate feed — the exchange the contract trades on — and cached on the server for a minute at a time. Nifty 50 spot comes from a separate public source. The exchange's own timestamp is shown alongside the reading, because the feed does not update while the market is closed.
This is reference data, not a broker feed, and not tick data. Do not deal on it. If the exchange stops responding, the page says so rather than showing a stale number as though it were current.
